Key Responsibilities

• Field Testing: Perform on-site, ASTM-standard tests on fresh concrete, including slump, air content, and temperature.
• Sampling & Inspection: Sample concrete from trucks and inspect material consistency to meet project specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve concrete quality issues on job sites.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between the plant, customers, and contractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with safety policies, including OSHA/MSHA guidelines and PPE requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification
• Knowledge of ASTM/ACI standards.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications and mix designs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license for travel to various job sites.

Typical Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, specifically with concrete
